Correa Stays & Tours N.V (hereinafter: "Correa") is based at Argonstraat 13, Paramaribo, Suriname, and is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy policy.

We rent homes and apartments for short stays and act as property manager on behalf of owners. This privacy policy applies to all data we collect in the context of reservations, stays, and other points of contact.

When making a reservation, we collect: first and last name, email address, phone number, a copy of your passport or identity document, and payment details.

During your stay, additional information may be recorded, such as arrival times, flight number, any damages reported, and communication via email or messaging platforms.

When using our website, technical data such as your IP address and browser information may be collected through cookies or similar technologies.

Performance of the agreement — processing reservations, check-in/check-out, key handover, and communication about your stay.

Legal obligations — identification and registration of tenants in accordance with local regulations.

Payment processing — handling rent, security deposit, administration fee, and cleaning fee.

Damage and disputes — recording the condition of the property and any damages for settlement or legal purposes.

Service improvement — processing feedback and reviews to improve our services. We do this only with your consent.

We share data only when necessary for the execution of your stay or when required by law.

Booking platforms — for bookings made via Micazu, Airbnb, or similar platforms, data is exchanged in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

Service providers — cleaning, maintenance, and inspection teams. These parties receive only the data required to perform their specific task.

Property owners — the owner of the relevant property may receive relevant booking information for management and reporting purposes.

We never sell your data to third parties.

Booking and stay data is retained for 2 years after the end of your stay, unless a statutory retention period requires a longer period.

Financial data (payments, invoices) is retained for 7 years in accordance with statutory fiscal requirements.

Copies of identity documents are deleted as soon as possible after the stay and any outstanding costs have been settled.

Access — you have the right to request an overview of the personal data we hold about you.

Rectification — you can request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete data.

Erasure — you can request deletion of your data, unless legal obligations require retention.

Objection — you can object to the processing of your data for marketing purposes.

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access.

In the event of a data breach that may affect your privacy, we will notify you as soon as possible.

We may update this privacy policy. The most current version is always available on our website. For material changes, we will notify active tenants by email.
